Artists...in progress

Holly Price:
Fashion designer, textile artist and color therapist inspired by life and rooted in the earth. Her fashionable clothing line, Threads of Humanity utilize natural, organic, upcycled and repurposed fabrics to explore everyday stylish comfort and sustainability. Yoga Fibers is her super comfy active wear that unites natural organic fabrics with great fit. This line explores the healing colours of nature by combining natural dyes with wearable art. Holly feels that since we can’t be naked our clothing should be therapeutic. She invites you to allow colour to balance and enhance your energy. Mister Misters is her handcrafted line of aromatherapy synergies for everyday living. Each mister is blended to balance and enhance your body’s energy and is made with therapeutic-grade essential oils.

Home Again, Home Again:
A collaborative effort of Shelley Christner and her husband of 25 years, Vaughan.
"To market, to market, to buy a fat pig; Home again, home again, dancing a jig. To market, to market, to buy a fat hog; Home again, home again, jiggety-jog."
"Growing up," says Shelley, "this little rhyme was recited every time we pulled in our drive way, and I have recited it to my children just the same. It is a heart-warming reminder of days gone by. Memories and things collected from days past, these are the things that bring warmth to the heart and the home. That is the essence of Home Again, Home Again: giving new life, new meaning to things of the past that are endearing to you."

House of Smash:
Artist and founder, Nix Johnson, creates wearable art by recyling vinyl records.
His work currently includes 2 lines of handmade bracelets and cuffs. "LUCY by House of Smash"
and "NIX by House of Smash", are crafted from recycled records into unique, one of a kind pieces of jewelry. The mission of House of Smash is to remind people to remain true to themselves at all times, whether it is by way of fashion or any other endeavors. Nix feels that it is important that we never forget who we are.

Jennifer Williams:
Creates wearable art that provides a connection to the natural world. She uses free form peyote stitch (an off-loom bead weaving technique) creating masterpieces of organic form.
The contemplative act of weaving one bead at a time to make articles of personal adornment has been practiced for centuries. Jennifer’s woven beaded surfaces are strong, light weight and supple, draping beautifully on your neck or wrist. Treat beadwork as you would fine silk to insure years of enjoyment. Her one of a kind pieces look amazing with casual everyday attire, as well as formal wear.

Kessler Craftsman:
Larry Pile lives and works in his Dallas, TX home studio. Largely self-taught, Larry has handcrafted pieces in wood and/or glass since 2001 and strives for beautiful, authentic pieces imbued with a sense of history and culture; pieces that are a pleasure to look at and a joy to own.

La Alicia:
Loves to create the unexpected by using colors, textures and found objects. Her goal is to create things that make people happy — things that provide an unexpected reason to giggle. She hopes that her creations will serve as a “muse” throughout your day.

Maggie May I?
Maggie is a mixed media collage artist living in the Dallas/Ft Worth, TX area. Her full-time job is taking care of her children and her art is created in the quiet moments she can squeeze in for herself.

Rachel Gaddie:
A textile artist with a passion for fibers and a penchant for sewing. Her line Rachel Elise includes unique art, bags, accessories and home decor that combine original textile designs with vintage and natural materials.

Robbie Jenkins:
A quirky mixed media artist with an eye for imagination. A self-taught artist born and raised in Oklahoma. It is her belief that we all possess an innate ability and desire to create. Robbie’s art combines vintage drawer handles, oil tins, doll parts and other mementos of past eras to create work that has a whimsical flare. With a twist of humor, her wax collages spark the imagination. Beeswax, resin, and encaustic paints are layered with handmade papers, postcards, photography and metal accents to evoke the nostalgia of days past.

Geomorphic Designs by Sarah Fuller
Inspired by the simplicity found in nature. Natural, precious, and semi-precious minerals from the earth, paired with handcrafted metals. Each piece is given careful consideration in the creative process to insure that the style and flow of the piece is in harmony. With scientific evidence of the energies associated with different stones and minerals, our goal is to create design styles that are adaptable to, but also enhance the mood and personality of the wearer.
Each piece of jewelery is a unique, handmade work of art.

“I believe that it may happen that one will succeed, and one must not begin to despair, even though defeated here and there; and even though one sometimes feels a kind of decay, though things go differently from the expected, it is necessary to take heart again and new courage. For the great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together. And great things are not something accidental, but must certainly be willed. What is drawing? How does one learn it? It is working through an invisible iron wall that seems to stand between what one feels and what one can do.”
Vincent van Gogh 1853-1890
